Description

Oversee the clinical aspects of client care including the care of home medical equipment and completing required documentation. Visit clients monthly or as directed by administration. Contact clients to arrange for delivery of supplies and in-home visits. Ensure equipment in client homes is in working condition and cleaned monthly. Train members of the care team on proper handling of equipment. Assist in transitions from facility to home as needed. On call duties as assigned. Communicate relevant information regarding clients to Team Lead. This is a driving position requiring compliance with organization’s insurance requirements.

This position requires a high school degree or equivalent and valid and current Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential. Additionally, requires 5+ years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist. This position requires a clean driving record for driving a company-owned vehicle.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: The Ventilator Specialist position will be a State of Arizona licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner, with 2 years’ experience using mechanical ventilation, both noninvasive and invasive.

  • HME experience preferred.
  • Must have CPR for Health Care professional certification.
  • Must have a good driving record and qualify for company insurance.
