  • Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF-IID):

An all-inclusive residential care facility for long-term, transition-to-home and short-term respite care.  Our state-of-the-art facility combined with a low resident-to-caregiver ratio allows our staff to provide exceptional, compassionate care to our residents.

  • Residential Services, Day Treatment & Training for Adults and Vocational Programs:

Our Residential Group Homes create a sense of community and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  They are located in residential neighborhoods and offer specialized programming and goal attainment programs based on each individual’s needs.  provides residential group homes support for individuals with intellectual disabilities. 

Our Day Treatment & Training for Adults (DTA) Program serves individuals with a wide range of disabilities.  Our services include active treatment, sensory activities, individual and group activities.

Our Vocational Program allows participants in learning and mastering the personal and interpersonal skills that are necessary for them to be successful in their chosen fields.  During their work experience, we emphasize social skills, problem-solving, hygiene, employer expectations and punctuality.  The program provides the skills and knowledge necessary to secure gainful employment.

  • Home Ventilator, Medical Equipment Care and Services:

Los Ninos Home Medical Services is a Community Health Accreditation Partner (CHAP) and an accredited Durable Medical Equipment provider within Arizona.  The primary focus is excellent, patient-centered, clinical ventilator care and complete respiratory therapy management.  Careful planning by our team results in a smooth, swift and successful transfer to the home setting from either an acute care setting or a long-term care center.

  • Home Health Nursing Services:

Provides a broad spectrum of nursing services designed for individuals ranging in age from infancy to adulthood, including those with special needs.  We provide each patient with personalized care in the comfort and privacy of their own home 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.  We also offer intermittent short-term visits throughout the Valley as well as Private Duty services throughout Arizona.

In this new position, you will identify and build new opportunities to grow portfolio engagement across all fundraising channels to increase revenue, including corporate partnerships, special events and individual giving.  Additionally:

  • Develop existing and new corporate and individual donors.  Accountable for significant revenue targets in creating and executing fundraising strategies to raise $500,000 - $750,000 annually.
  • Conduct meetings for solicitation, cultivation, and recognition of donors, both new and prospective.  Conduct introductory communications with all donors in portfolio and cultivate continuous stewardship touchpoints throughout the year.
  • Develop and manage multi-channel fundraising campaigns including the end-of-year Arizona Charitable Tax Credit Appeals, Employee Giving, Arizona Gives Day and Giving Tuesday campaigns, as well as third-party fundraisers. Maintain program-specific wish lists and coordinate in-kind donations.
  • Develop fundraising strategies for an annual donor giving society, including robust benefits at each gift level that would encourage the growth of the annual campaign each year.
  • Maintain all touch points and activities in our donor database keeping the information current.
  • Foundation Outreach:  Cultivate, solicit and steward relationships with grantmaking foundations, using donor research tools effective and proactively reaching out to new foundation prospects.
  • Corporate Development:  Proactively reach out to corporate donor prospects and attend events to build relationships with corporate decision makers who donate to local charities.
  • Donor Relations:  Connect with current and lapsed donors through 1-on-1 meetings, building relationships with donors by connecting them to HHC’s mission and work.
  • Grants:  Research, plan, and write grants to ensure continued funding for the organization. Compose robust federal and State grant applications and rules for proper grant management
  • Negotiate and create grant contracts to document grant purpose, conditions, funds distribution, impact expectations, and acknowledgment requirements; identifying and addressing compliance issues including drafting amendments and extensions when needed.
  • Manage local and regional grants budgets in a manner that maximizes impact, aligns with Hacienda’s mission, and exemplifies stewardship of donor funds.
  • Set up grants in our financial system; generating post-award financial reports; billings on awards; timely and efficient financial tracking, and grant closeouts. Research and interpret applicable regulations, guidelines, and standards accordingly to provide expert advice and oversight to our financial staff.
  • Research grant prospects and prepare and submit applications for funding to government funding sources, corporations and foundations, and additional funding sources to meet the needs of Hacienda HealthCare and the clients we serve. This includes identifying grant budgets and assembling required documents as needed.
  • Maintain all grant documents including an annual grant index of application requirements, deadlines, contract details, and reporting requirements.  Ensure that monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual grant reports are submitted within contract deadlines. Provide narrative components to reports as needed.

To be successful in this position, you will need: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of nonprofit fundraising and business development experience with healthcare and social service nonprofit organizations. 
  • Proven ability to solicit and close donations with individual donors and/or business corporations.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with various communities in Arizona, particularly Native American communities. 
  • Experience cultivating and growing a donor base from the ground up, experience running large capital campaigns, proven project leadership skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, ability to forge new  philanthropic relationships, a sales mindset, and an excellent communicator and influencer.
  • Have knowledge of Arizona’s tax credit benefits and be able to articulate those benefits to potential donors and partner organizations.
  • Established success in fundraising and nonprofit donation development.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including writing and oral skills.
  • Creative self-starter, dependable, self-disciplined individual who can work both independently and as a member of a team.
  • Superior problem solving, organization and time management skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including (Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management software solutions, i.e., Constant Contact.
